Doxa Comunicación aims to promote intellectual links, innovation, the transmission of ideas and the exchange of knowledge among the international scientific community.

The objective of the journal is to make available to readers the results of original, relevant and contrasted quality research that provides new knowledge in the field of Social Sciences, and more specifically, the area of Social Communication.



Doxa Comunicación welcomes scientific articles and essays related to the Social Sciences, and specifically those aimed at the study of collective communication: journalism, public opinion, the right to information, advertising and audio-visual and digital communication.


Target audience

Doxa Comunicación is aimed at the international scientific community and all readers interested in knowing the latest advances in the field of Social Communication.


Bilingual and multi-format edition

The journal is published in a Spanish/English bilingual edition as of November 2016. All scientific contributions published in Doxa Comunicación will be available in 3 digital formats: PDF, ePub, and HTML.

In addition, content that receives a favourable evaluation will be published in a pre-print version as soon as the layout and edited manuscripts are available. A DOI (Digital Object Identification System) code will be assigned to all published articles.
